Can I take courses on a PC or MAC computer?
Yes. We recommend these PC and MAC operating systems:
- Windows XP or higher
- Android 4.2 or higher
- Apple IOS 7.0.3
- Mac OSX 10.8 or higher
Which browsers work best with the CE Portal and courses?
We recommend these browsers and versions:
- Chrome 24+
- Explorer 8+
- Safari 7+
- Flash Player 10+
Can I use an iPad or Android tablet?
Yes. However, because the on demand courses use Flash, you will need to download the Photon Flash Player app: Photon app for iPad ($)or Photon app for Android devices (free).
The online course is slow to load and the video/audio is choppy or freezes up. What download speed is recommended?
Video streaming issues are usually due to a slow internet connection. With low connection speeds, buffering can take up to 45 seconds when downloading course modules.
A minimum download speed of 2 mbps is recommended. Test your download speed to ensure online courses stream properly on your computer.
