Oral Health Month

April is Oral Health Month!

The BC Dental Association has organized province-wide events to promote awareness of Oral Health Month and the importance of proper oral hygiene. Activities include a Brush to Win contest for Kindergarten to grade 3 students, radio trivia contests, oral health presentations, and more!

The Brush to Win contest is targeted to elementary school children in grades k-3. Teachers are asked to hand out copies of the Brush to Win calendars. Students take the calendars home and check off each day they brush their teeth during the month of April. Calendars are collected by the teachers at the end of the month and sent it to the BC Dental Association. Entries are then entered in a random draw for prizes. Participating schools will also receive prizes so get your students brushing!
