About the British Columbia Dental Association (BCDA)

The British Columbia Dental Association (BCDA) is a member-based organization governed by an elected Board of Directors of sixteen dentists. The BCDA is a provincial member of the Canadian Dental Association and is active in providing dental or oral health information to the public.  

Our Mission: The British Columbia Dental Association is the recognized voice of dentistry in this province, dedicated to serving the interests of its members and promoting oral health. 

The Association is not a regulatory body. The College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia registers, certifies and regulates dentists and certified dental assistants in the public interest.
